Nigerian Women in Public Relations (NWiPR) has announced the National Public Relations Students Summit 2025, scheduled to hold virtually on Friday, December 5th, 2025.
The summit is curated to build future-ready public relations professionals and will bring together undergraduates, recent graduates, and young communications professionals from across Nigeria to learn, network, and gain insights into Public Relations.
The National PR Students Summit is one of NWiPR’s initiatives designed to introduce undergraduates to the PR profession, inspire youth participation in the industry, and foster career development among emerging communicators.
Over the years, the Summit has been successfully hosted across several leading Nigerian tertiary institutions, including the University of Lagos, University of Uyo, University of Ibadan, Lagos State University, University of Ilorin, University of Nigeria, Covenant University, NTA Television College, Ebonyi State University, and many others — impacting thousands of students nationwide.
This year’s national edition will feature three distinguished speakers: Onyinye Nwafor, Communications and Media Associate at Moneda Invest; Oluwanifesi Adefila, Associate Consultant at BlackHouse Media (BHM); and Oluwadamilola Olujide, PR Consultant at Chain Reactions Africa, each bringing in-depth knowledge and real-world experience to equip attendees with practical insights into the PR and communications industry. Participants can expect engaging discussions, actionable advice, and mentorship opportunities from accomplished professionals shaping the future of the field. There will also be an interactive debate session, adding a fun and engaging element to the event while encouraging lively discussions among participants.
Speaking ahead of the summit, Stella Okos-Iboje, Programs and Membership Lead, Nigerian Women in PR, emphasised that the Summit continues to play a vital role in nurturing the next generation of PR professionals, equipping them with the skills, confidence, and community needed to thrive in an evolving PR and communications landscape.
