NWiPR Hosts Senior African Public Relations Women, Advocates Continuous Professional Relevance

Nigerian Women in PR (NWiPR), a leading professional social impact organisation is set to host senior African women in Public Relations and Communications at the year-end Premium Members Meet webinar on Thursday, November 20 at 12:00 PM WAT  as part of its commitment to supporting the continuous professional development of women in the industry.

A flagship initiative of the Premium Members Club, the exclusive professional community for women with at least 10 years of experience in the communications industry, the Premium Members Meet webinar series provides an advanced learning, networking and collaboration opportunity for accomplished female professionals across the continent. The Club provides experienced African female practitioners with strategic knowledge-sharing opportunities, a peer-support system, an executive learning platform, work-gap Relay Program to ensure business continuity, as well as curated resources specific to their needs.

Speaking on the importance of the event, Tolulope Olorundero, Founder of Nigerian Women in PR, said: “It is important to create dedicated spaces for experienced female professionals. The session will feature a guest presentation to be delivered by Claudine Moore, Managing Director, Africa at Allison Worldwide. Moore, being an accomplished and globally celebrated senior female PR professional will speak on the topic: Future-Proofing your Career: Reinventing and Diversifying in a Crowded Market. Claudine Moore is a global Public Relations business founder and leader whose extensive career spans in-house leadership roles, founding a global agency that championed African brands on the world stage, and a landmark merger and acquisition with Allison Worldwide. Her experience will offer attendees deep insight into strategic career transitions, leadership evolution, and retaining relevance in a world often distracted by viral content.

In addition to the guest presentation, Nigerian Women in PR will unveil the next chapter in its organisational evolution. Founded in 2019 and duly registered as the Public Relations Women Foundation, the organisation widely known as Nigerian Women in PR has consistently designed and delivered high-impact programmes aligned with its core objectives. These include the Experiencing Public Relations Annual Conference, Reverse Mentorship Workshop, PR Business Training for Founders and Senior Executives, and the PR Students Summit delivered across tertiary institutions nationwide.
