Nigerian Women in Public Relations has placed second in the Equal Representation and Participation category at the recently concluded 9th edition of the Gender Mainstreaming Awards.
The Awards, which was organised by Business Engage and powered by Accenture, was held on Thursday, 9th September, 2021 in South Africa. The Awards was organized to change the face of business in Africa and also celebrate and reward those who are actively accelerating equality in the workplace.
In her appreciation note, the Founder, Tolulope Olorundero, who also placed 2nd in the Positive Role Model, West Africa Awards Category, stated that it is such a great honour to have received the awards as it connotes that the Organisation definitely is doing a notable job in the promotion of gender equality and balance in the workplace.
She further revealed that the work done by the Organisation tend to be so passion driven that they might not appreciate their own work enough and that it is humbling and exciting that the organisation is a recipient of such a remarkable award.
She dedicated the award to all Public Relations Professionals who are contributing to the growth of Public Relations in Nigeria.
