Nigerian Women in Public Relations reiterates its commitment to its organisational objectives as it sets out to empower professionals and community members on how to excel in the different areas of their lives.
The initiative, which is to commence on Thursday, 21st October, 2021 by 7pm on Instagram, would host experts from diverse industries and fields who would be speaking on topics based on their field of expertise. The bimonthly programme is an initiative of the organisation to empower members of the community and general public who have struggles in their various careers.
Speaking on the initiative, the Founder of the organisation, Tolulope Olorundero, expressed that the organisation is relentless and committed towards achieving its goal of empowering female professionals and that this initiative is one step towards achieving the objectives.
She expressed her joy and appreciation to the speakers who have accepted the organisation’s invite and further revealed that from the line-up of speakers for the initiative, she is certain that participants are up for a great learning time and they are allowed to ask the speakers questions on challenges they face on their jobs.
Also speaking about the initiative, the program coordinator, Ronke Giwa-Onafuwa, stated that the initiative was born from the realisation that there is a world beyond Public Relations and that the initiative would cover topics on acing interviews to having a great work-life balance.
She continued as she stated that the seasoned experts from the diverse fields who are going to speak at the initiative have success stories participants can learn from and lessons that can be applied to improving their careers.
Nigerian Women in Public Relations (NGWiPR) is an independent social impact organisation established in 2019 to provide a networking platform for practicing female public relations professionals of Nigerian descent worldwide. Its aim is to support, inspire and empower these professionals while improving access to career advancing opportunities.
